Alec is a graphic designer + filmmaker from the Philippines where he studied and practiced filmmaking. His second feature-length film, The Eternity Between Seconds — which he wrote, directed and edited — won {Best Picture} {Best Director} {Best Cinematography} {Best Editing} and {Best Sound} for CineFilipino Film Festival 2018. The film was screened in Busan International Film Festival 2018, Osaka Asian Film Festival 2019, Asiatica Film Festival XX Edition in Rome, and Cape Town Film Market & Festival 2018, where it won {Best Screenplay}. He was also awarded a {Technical & Creative Award} for the film by the Film Development Council of the Philippines.

Alec holds an MFA in Graphic Design from RISD [2024] and is a recipient of the 2023 Henry Wolf Scholarship Award and has been featured as one of GD USA’s Students to Watch 2024.
